OVERVIEW
The Hampton Roads Sea Level Rise/Flooding Adaptation Forum is a continuing series of meetings bringing together stakeholders in the Hampton Roads region to discuss solutions and best practices for adapting to sea level rise and increased flooding. This project is a collaboration between Virginia Sea Grant, Old Dominion University and the Hampton Roads Planning District Commission.

- 4th Hampton Roads Forum: October 2, 2013.
- 5th Hampton Roads Forum: March 28, 2014.
- 6th Hampton Roads Forum: September 19, 2014, 8:30 AM - 3 PM at VMASC. Representatives from several of the sea level rise vulnerability/data mapping tools sorted through the available options. A federal agency representative talked about the new National Climate Assessment and its implications for Hampton Roads
- 7th Hampton Roads Forum: January 23, 2015, 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM at the Virginia Modeling, Analysis and Simulation Center (VMASC), 1030 University Blvd., Suffolk, VA 23435. - May 22, 2015: The next Hampton Roads Flooding/Sea Level Rise Adaptation Forum is scheduled for May 22 at VMASC. The topic for the quarterly meeting is “Megaproject Protective Structures for Hampton Roads: What might they look like? Will they work here? What are the pros and cons?”
