MARI Proposal Development
The CCSLRI is preparing a proposal for the establishment of a Mitigation and Adaptation Research Institute (MARI) at ODU. A preliminary draft was presented to ODU faculty engaged in the CCSLRI on November 19, 2013. Since then, a Writing Team (WT) developed a draft description of MARI, which is currently iterated with internal and external stakeholders. The plan was presented to ODU faculty on January 21, 2014, to external stakeholders on January 22, 2014, to the Board of Visitors on January 23, 2014, and to the Provost's council on February 9, 2014.
